Treetopia

Our game Treetopia is about the player moving to an open valley and meeting a man named Norton who tells him about the disasters of deforestation and how that has effected the area. He strikes a deal with the player that he'll give him tree saplings to grow in the open valley and in return he will get apples/wood(and in the future more options) leading to cabin customization and a potential business in the future. The player will have to dig a decent hole to plant the saplings in and water them for them to grow, the water will be fetched from a nearby river and the trees will grow at random over night. As the player grows more and more trees he will be rewarded by either a backpack from Norton to help him carry more equipment or by animals starting to appear in the environment. The main goal with this game is to spread awareness about deforestation and what opportunities can come from growing trees and looking after the environment.
